Neighbours Fined!
You will be fined for docking Boxer puppies’ tails, as some neighbours in Kent experienced. The owner of the young Boxer dog litter asked her neighbour to dock the seven puppies’ tails.
The pups were held over the fence whilst the elastic band was applied. Their tails later fell off. The RSPCA heard a complaint from a member of the public and visited the owner of the puppies to find their tails have been removed.
The pups were taken to a local vet, they said the puppies would have suffered due to the elastic band.
The owner was fined £300 and ordered to pay £1,990 costs.
Tail docking is illegal and causes dogs suffering that isn’t necessary.
